Ann Kurka, APRN, is a seasoned and highly qualified healthcare professional committed to ensuring the well-being of her patients.

Ann's journey into healthcare began after receiving an honorable discharge from the United States Marine Corps. She earned her registered nursing degree from the University of Southern Mississippi, gaining early experiences in acute care hospitals, particularly with cardiac patients, which equipped her with a strong foundation in critical care.

Ann then received her Master of Science in nursing from Loyola University New Orleans, marking the foundation of her extensive 17-year career as a certified family nurse practitioner. Her diverse experience spans the entire patient lifespan, adeptly caring for children, adults, and geriatric patients.

During the early stages of her career, Ann specialized in internal medicine, forming the basis for her certification as a wound specialist. For over a decade, she treated acute and chronic wounds, as well as burns, in both hospital and clinic settings. Ann's dedication to wound care excellence continued to evolve over the next 3 years, where she extended her expertise to a surgical, trauma, and plastics clinic, focusing on burn, wound, and hand care.

What sets Ann apart is not only her extensive professional background but also her personal journey. After discovering the transformative benefits of Bio-identical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) through her own experiences, Ann became a patient of The Blend Institute. Inspired by the remarkable impact BHRT had on her life, she joined the practice in January 2023 with an unwavering dedication to optimizing health and wellness for every patient.
